Dr. Badrinarayan Mishra a public health expert par excellence is presently working as a senior professor in the Department of Community Medicine at Ruxmaniben Deepchand Gardi Medical College (RDGMC) Ujjain, MP, India. He received his Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Master’s in Community Medicine from SCB Medical College the premier medical institution in Odisha and one of the top and oldest centers of medical teaching and training in India.
Dr. Mishra is active in the field of medical research, publication, and editing. He has been decorated by over 20 medical journals both national and international in the capacity of Editor in Chief, Executive Editor, and Editorial Board Member. This avid medical writer and course designer has written prominent chapters on ‘Cohort Study- The Master Crafts Man in Medical Research’, designed an online course on ‘Social determinants of cardiovascular diseases’ for ARCADE project version 3, edited and contributed to MCH modules for ‘The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)’ India’s most popular and highest accredited (NAAC Grade of A++) University. Dr. Sai Sailesh Kumar Goothy, Currently working as an Associate professor, in the Department of Physiology at R. D. Gardi Medical College, Ujjain. He obtained a Master’s degree in Medical Physiology from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal in 2007. He completed a doctoral degree from Saveetha University, Chennai in Neuro Physiology in 2018. He received the National stress Management award twice from ISMA, India in 2014 & 2015. He also received a young scientist award from SPER in 2017 at Jaipur National University, Jaipur. He won a gold medal in the Andhra Pradesh Medical education conference for his paper presentation on medical education. He won many best paper and poster awards at national and international conferences. He published more than 200 research papers in peer-reviewed journals. He is currently working as an editor, editorial board member, and reviewer in many reputed journals. His area of research is vestibular stimulation in the management of lifestyle disorders and neuronal disorders. At present, he is working on the management of Parkinson’s disease by vestibular stimulation which was funded by ICMR.

Dr. Megha Sharma completed her post-graduation with a gold medal and was awarded the degree of Ph.D. in 2001. She is associated with R. D. Gardi Medical College (RDGMC), India, and Karolinska Institutet (KI), Sweden since 2004. She received Postdoctoral Fellowship from Lund University, Sweden (2009) and coordinated several international, multidisciplinary collaborative projects. At present, she holds the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at RDGMC and Researcher at the Department of Global Public Health, KI. Besides, she is the coordinator of an international, multi-disciplinary research project focused on antibiotics, antibiotic resistance, and improving hygiene in communities and hospitals and, b) an Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring Centre under the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India. She is the pioneer and Team Leader of the Hygiene Team for Infection Prevention and Control in the area. Having a keen interest in research and academics, Dr. Sharma persistently teaches and supervises undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students. I graduated in Dentistry from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, in 2007. I spent three years working as a dentist. Following this, I studied for a Master's degree in MBA in Health Management at IIHMR University, Jaipur, for two years. During this time, I did summer training at NRHM Maharashtra, where I was involved in evaluating the VCDC and NRC programs run by the state. Then, I joined as a Research Assistant in the research group at the International Centre for Health Research, where I was involved in a project on antibiotic use and resistance at the community level - a One Health approach. In 2016, I registered as a PhD student at the Department of Global Public Health, Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. My thesis, entitled "Antibiotic Use and Resistance in Under-5 Children in Rural Central India: Implications of Caregivers' Healthcare-Seeking Behaviour and Informal Healthcare Providers' Practices," was conducted between 2014 and 2017. I currently work as a Research Officer at the International Centre for Health Research, R.D. Gardi Medical College, Ujjain. I support the development, implementation, and evaluation of research projects conducted within RDGMC and am an editorial board member of the Central India Journal of Medical Research, RDGMC.

Dr. Misra completed her fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Masters in Public Health at the Harvard School of Public Health. McArthur Award (Women in Endocrinology), the Claflin Distinguished Scholar Award (MGH) and the Rita M. Kelley, MD, Fellowship (MGH). She is an ex-NIH study section member.
