Abstract

Bulbar motor neuron disease (MND) is a specific form of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) that primarily affects the upper and lower motor neurons in the bulbar region of the brain, leading to serious treatment problems. This case report describes the presentation and treatment of a 61-year-old male with a history of aphasia and high pressure, presenting with symptoms such as left-sided weakness, dysphagia, and dysarthria, the complexity of gender, and control of the problem. Methods: The patients underwent a rigorous clinical examination, clinical examination, and visual examination, and the patients were diagnosed with bulbar motor neuron disease. Multidisciplinary interventions are used to address the different symptoms, including therapy, swallowing function, physical therapy, bolus modification, behavioral modification, physical exercise, physical therapy, and sensory and neurophysiological stimulation to improve swallowing safety and comfort. Interventions for dysarthria and left-sided weakness also include control of speech rate, muscle training, and use of effective communication techniques. Results: After 30 days of observation, the patient's dysphagia, dysarthria, and ability to perform daily living activities were observed. Effective treatment strategies address specific problems associated with bulbar motor neuron disease, focusing on improving patients' quality of life and ability to work. Conclusion: These data highlight the need for a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach in the treatment of bulbar MND. It shows the difficulty of diagnosing and solving the symptoms and problems experienced by patients with this problem and the importance of treatment strategies and personality
